Yieldbroker partners with Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) for data distribution and product collaboration via the ASX DataSphere data science platform

Press Releases
5 December 2022

Yieldbroker, the leading Tier 1 licensed electronic trading platform for Australian and New Zealand debt securities and interest rate derivatives, today announced its collaboration with ASX’s Technology and Data group to provide key Yieldbroker product and data available via its ASX DataSphere data science platform.

The initial product will be the Yieldbroker End of Day RateSheet Series and associated Yieldbroker End of Day Historical Data (back to 2003), enabling ASX clients to access the widely respected reference data for Australian Fixed Income Closing Prices. The pricing data is sourced directly from the Yieldbroker trading platform, covering 1200+ Securities daily.

Making the key Yieldbroker “transaction-based pricing” available via ASX DataSphere will help ASX customers with their business requirements and use cases such as market monitoring, portfolio and book valuations, internal product development, modelling, research and analytics. The Yieldbroker End of Day Pricing data provides an independent and verifiable source for pricing across AUS & NZ Bonds, Credit, Bills and Repo, traded across the Yieldbroker electronic platform.

Dan Chesterman, ASX Chief Information Officer, said: “We are pleased to be working in partnership with Yieldbroker to provide further key OTC Fixed Income data to our global client base via ASX DataSphere. Moving forward, the DataSphere team and Yieldbroker will be looking to collaborate on potential new data products that leverage both ASX and Yieldbroker data to assist clients with their trading, risk, and compliance requirements by providing new insights into debt capital markets data.”

“This partnership with the ASX extends Yieldbroker’s strategic focus in expanding our overall market data distribution and access options. The ASX has a large domestic and global client base, and we are pleased to be able to provide key Yieldbroker data and products to ASX clients to help with their internal trading workflow requirements”, said Anthony Robson, Chief Executive Officer, Yieldbroker. “Our unique Yieldbroker model combines both a D2D and D2C market with live pricing across some 1200+ AU & NZ interest rate securities. We continue to build out our Yieldbroker market data and analytics capabilities and make them available to our global clients via specific access and service solutions of their choice”.
