Yieldbroker today announced that its high quality live
intra day and end of day indicative pricing for Australian and New Zealand debt
products would now be available through Reuters services, including Reuters
3000Xtra.
The data sets cover Australian government, semi-government and corporate fixed
income products, as well as New Zealand government debt. In all, over 250
securities are priced. The prices are a clean average of the individual
contributions from Yieldbroker’s participating market makers: ABN AMRO,
Citigroup, Deutsche Bank and Macquarie Bank.
Yieldbroker General Manager, Rachael Rogers, said the deal with Reuters offered
Yieldbroker an alternative distribution for data, including the ability to reach
clients who did not necessarily want to trade.
‘Our rigorous live monitoring and strong relationships with our contributors
ensure a consistently high quality which is unique in this market. The benefit
to price and market transparency, particularly for less liquid securities, is
obvious. The open system of Reuters also offers clients the ability to integrate
the data into their systems and spreadsheets,’ Ms Rogers said.
Diccon Close, Managing Director, Reuters Australia said the acquisition of
Yieldbroker indicative price data illustrates Reuters ongoing commitment to the
local fixed income market and ensures that Reuters customers have access to the
highest quality content available through any information source.
‘Yieldbroker data combined with the capability of 3000Xtra makes Reuters the
logical choice for anyone with an interest in the local debt markets,’he said.
