1999 - Yieldbroker founded by leading participants in the Australian and New Zealand debt markets

May 2001 - Dealer-to-client platform commences trading with initial banking participants Citi, Deutsche Bank, Westpac and UBS providing pricing in Australian government and semi-government debt and New Zealand government debt

Nov 2001 - Macquarie Bank joins dealer-to-client platform

Dec 2001 - ABN Amro joins dealer-to-client platform

Jul 2002 - Client turnover reaches AUD$4 billion a month

Jul 2002 - Product coverage expanded to include AUD denominated corporate, supra-national, agency and sovereign fixed rate securities

Mar 2004 - Yieldbroker obtains Australian Markets Licence

May 2004 - Major technical rebuild completed for provide flexibility for expanded product coverage of debt securities and debt derivatives and changed organisational objectives

Nov 2004 - Axes functionality added to facilitate trading in less liquid securities

Oct 2005 - Release of the internally developed trading platform Yieldbroker DEBTS (Direct Electronic Bond Trading System) to institutional buy side clients

Apr 2006 - Yieldbroker DEBTS released to the sell side banking participants

Apr 2006 - Yieldbroker becomes the second electronic platform in the world to offer trading in floating rate securities (FRNs)

Apr 2007 - Royal Bank of Canada joins dealer-to-client market

Apr 2007 - ANZ joins dealer-to-client market

Jun 2007 - Yieldbroker turnover exceeds 1/3rd of total dealer to client turnover in domestic market

Aug 2007 - Launch of interface to RTFI (Reuters Trading for Fixed Income) allowing Asian based clients to access the Yieldbroker dealer group.

Nov 2007 - Toronto Dominion joins dealer-to-client market

Nov 2007 - Launch of the dealer-to-dealer trading platform. Initial coverage limited to Australian Government and Semi Government securities, then expanded to include Australian dollar denominated corporate, supra-national, agency and sovereign fixed rate securities

Dec 2007 - Commonwealth Bank of Australia joins dealer-to-client market

Feb 2008 - Coverage of dealer-to-dealer platform expanded to include Floating Rate securities (FRNs)

Apr 2008 - UBS and JP Morgan join dealer-to-client market

Aug 2008 - Westpac joins dealer-to-client market

Mar 2009 - AOFM commences primary market bond auctions using Yieldbroker DEBTS
